At that time Liz was going down from upstairs and joined our conversation. She said "You have 9 months to be ready. Don't worry about that." She went to on say "However the most important thing is spending a time between wife and husband. You'd better have some time. because you have been apart from each other for a long time. "
"What a such good advice it is! " I thought. But I still felt something in my mind kind of anxiety,tension to be a mother. I can't imagine that. I have no concept of being parents.

Man kills as many as 3 in Belgian daycare

A man with a painted face entered a daycare outside Brussels and stabbed to death up to two children and an adult, police say.Two nurses from the Fabeltjesland daycare walk outside a crisis centre set up in Dendermonde, near Brussels, after the attacks on Friday.
At least 10 other children aged three or younger were believed to be injured, some critically, freelance reporter Patricia Kelly told CBC News from the small town of Dendermonde, about 30 kilometres northwest of the Belgian capital.
Officials say the attacker fled the Fabeltjesland daycare on a bicycle, but police caught and arrested a man shortly afterward in a supermarket. Witnesses in the grocery store said he was extremely thin, had red hair and a face painted black and white.
Local reports say he was a patient at a nearby psychiatric hospital.
The suspect was to appear before a judge later Friday.
Peter Claymens, the director of the Dendermonde Ambulance Centre, said many of the injured were babies and small children.Police work outside the daycare on Friday.
"It was a disaster. All the children were lying down on the ground, bleeding, in the neck, in the stomach, everywhere," he said.
Town Mayor Piet Buyse launched an emergency action plan to evacuate people from the daycare by helicopter and ambulance. They have been taken to a local hospital in Dendermonde.
Buyse told Belgian radio and television broadcaster VRT that daycare staff are "in a state of shock."
Grief counsellors have been brought in to speak with staff and the children.
Police say they have no motive for the attack.

3) Really though...it is sometimes impossible to prevent this type of tragedy. This man was obviously not well and attacked the innocent. Nobody expects this kind of thing, so it is difficult to prevent. As someone who works with children, I know we take as much precaution as possible to prevent this sort of thing, but there are still loopholes(헛점)...I mean, we are only human. I send my heart out to the parents of the dead and injured, and to the workers at the daycare who will carry this with them permanently.

Lonely but strong

When I was young, my mother used to leave for fishmaket where she sold the fish for making money. One day when she left home for work, I hold to her hand. She caressed my head and hold me tight, then I could tagged along with her. At the fish market I saw a vender which served pumkin soup, it smelled very good. After pestering mom to buy me a bowl, I can eat that pumpkin soup. It was so delicious. I said to mom, "I go to fishmarket everyday for this pumpkin soup" My mom just smiled at me.
When I was a little older and was a elementary school student, I was again going to the fish market with my mother. She used to take a bus, so I just follewed her riding riding a bike with a box of fish on it. I waited with mom at the bus stop until the bus came. But when she got on the bus, the driver yells at her, "You stink fish. Get off"
I understand that no one doesn't want to like fish smell in the early morning.

More Koreans are staying single

Have you heard about 'single-person household', which means a person who choose to stay single. The mose noticeable segment of society is 'Yuppies', who is between the ages of 25 and 35,live in cities and have good careers. They put their career ahead of family.
It's not a unique to Korea. Korean is just on the tail end of this trend. Japan,U.S.A, the number of this is closer to 30 percent. In sweden and some of the Nordic countries, the number is closer 50 percent.
This trend can be a benefit in lean economic times as they tend to have more flexible incomes and therefore spend more money on products. The growth of single households can greatly change the urban environment because they often come more restaurants,cafes and convenience stores. They can have an extremely positie effect on urban areas.

The day the rock star died

This article says about how much hard it is to live as a musician in these days,in that case rock star by interviewing with McConnell, a Toronto filmmaker and somtime musian himself.
McConnell set out in 2004 to make a film about the trials and tribulations of indie rock,but came out with a documentray subject. It seems to be a good one for those who want to be a musician,aspiring to walk through the golden gates of music industry. But he says that the music industry are becoming increasingly tarnished by oneline filesharing and plummeting album sales.
The music maket also became totally saturated because everybody thinks that they can make a music and be a singer. There are too many bands, labels but there're not enough people who support a scene.
We can see many canadian metal bands in his documentary, who left their family and even infant children behind as they follow their musical dreams. But the problem is that labels are looking for hitmakers. Of coure, the top band on the label get a lot but everyone else is left out to dry. You're either starving or you're not. You must not dive into the scene headfirst without knowing how much it's goint to cost them. Being signed to a label doesn't mean the success any more. You must be a realist. There's more middlemen to take money out of the pot.
He says, " You can try make your own CD, selling them to your fans or over the internet. but unless you already have an established fan base, you need the label. It's like when I tried to sell my documentray. I tried to sell them directly but for this i have to make more. I opted to work with distributor. Because they picked it up, put it in major video and record stores all over North America, and I could't have done that on my own. "

Frozen grapes that yield ‘Liquid Gold’
Have you heard about Canada’s ice wine? This article says about that.
Niagara region in Canada is well know for its frosty winter and good quality ice wine as well. They produce a very intensely sweet wine. While other countries also produce wine, Canada has become world’s best and largest producer, garnering high awards at several international wine competitions.
Do you know how to get a sweet ice wine? The secret is a frozen grape.
The sweetness is due to the concentration of sugars within the grapes.
It was in 1979, German. One vintner pressed a juice from frozen grapes after an ice storm. The grape yielded a remarkably sweet wine, high concentration of sugar.
Grapes are 80% of water. Water freeze at a more higher temperature than the sugars. Which means when it gets cold, the water is trapped as ice. So when you pressed the frozen grapes, you can get juice that has a high concentration of sugars.
One wine columnist put it, ‘miraculously sweet’ .
In order to produce the good ice wines, you have to be very sensitive to temperature. There are some necessary condition. The temperature must be below minus seven degrees for several days. but if it gets too cold, the hard grape yield very little. It’s very tricky. It has to be just right.
Do you know how much wine can you get in one kilogram of normal grape?
They ill generally yield one 750-milliter bottle of wine. It depends on winter sunshine. In some cases, they yield just one fifth of a bottle or even less. That’s why ice wine can be quite expensive and it is often sold in half-bottles.
The popularity of ice wine is not limited to Canada. It was exported to many countries, especially to East Asia. Ice wine has been embraced as a sweet alternative to cognac.
Interestingly, some wine lovers have volunteered to participate in the harvest with no pay. Their wage are just a half of bottle of ‘liquid gold’.
